THE CANDLE

The house doesn't leave you without answers. Just without overhead lighting.

How long does it burn?

The Statement burns approximately 120 hours. The Edit burns approximately 50 hours. Both reward patience. Trim the wick. Burn it properly. Let it do what it was built to do.

How do I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. Every time. No exceptions. On your first burn, let the entire surface melt — this takes 3 to 4 hours and prevents tunneling. Keep it away from drafts. Never leave it unattended. Unlike some things, this one stays.

What is the wax made of?

Coco Apricot Soy wax. A luxurious vegan blend of natural coconut, apricot, and soy. Creamy. Clean-burning. Exceptional scent throw both warm and cold. It holds scent the way a room holds a memory — completely, and longer than you expect.

Are the fragrance oils safe?

Every fragrance oil used in House of DIP is phthalate-free. Three sources. One standard. The nose decides.

My wax has some separation after cooling. Is that normal?

Yes. Coconut apricot wax is a natural blend and can show slight variations in texture or surface after cooling. It does not affect the scent, the burn, or the performance. The candle knows what it's doing. Trust it.

Can I repurpose the vessel after use?

That vessel was built to stay. Freeze for an hour, pop out remaining wax, wash with warm soapy water, keep it. It's 6x6x6 clear glass with a matte black pine lid. It belongs on a shelf. Obviously.

What is The House Blend?

The invisible thread running through every House of DIP candle. Dark woods. Warm resin. Skin. Smoke. Light. The House Blend is not just a formula — it is a signature designed to linger long after the flame goes out.

What does the number mean?

The permanent collection — 00 Almost through 10 Composure — is a complete emotional arc. A woman's life. A relationship. A journey from anticipation all the way through to composure. They tell one story. In order. You don't enter once. You move through it.

Why is there no scent name on the front label?

Because the first thing you should notice is the house. Not the room. The scent name lives on the lid — quiet, waiting to be discovered. That's not an accident. That's the whole point.

When do the seasonal candles come back?

Every year. Always. FINALLY returns every spring. STAY LATE every summer. AFTER HOURS- late summer. LONG GAME every fall. LIT every winter. Never exactly the same. She's like the wind. Blink and she's gone.

What sizes are available and what are the prices?

The Statement — 60oz · $225 | The Edit — 18oz · $95 | Coming spring of 2027*-

What are the shipping costs and how long does it take to receive my candle?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and order size.

During warmer months, select orders may automatically upgrade to 2-day shipping to help protect the integrity of the candles in transit. To offset the cost, the house covers part of the upgrade for you.

Orders typically leave the house within 3–5 business days. Summer shipments (May-September) generally go out Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid candles sitting in transit over the weekend.

The West and The South are hell’s front porch hot from May through October.

Candles are sensitive to extreme heat. During warmer months, orders shipping to high-temperature regions may automatically ship via 2-day delivery and are generally dispatched early in the week to reduce time spent in transit.

Once an order leaves the house, House of DIP is not responsible for melting or heat-related damage caused by weather, carrier delays, mailbox exposure, or packages left unattended outdoors.

If possible, we strongly recommend shipping to an attended address during the summer months.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet. The house is still introducing itself domestically. Stay on the list.

What is your return policy?

We do not accept returns or exchanges on opened candles. If something arrives damaged, contact us at foreverlit@houseofdip.com within 48 hours.

WHOLESALE

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. The house takes care of its own. Email foreverlit@houseofdip.com with your business name, location, and a brief note about your store.

Do you offer custom labels or scents for wholesale partners?

No. The house doesn't let anyone else redecorate. What you carry is House of DIP — exactly as it was built. The label is the label. The scent is the scent.
That's the whole point.

How long will it take to receive a wholesale order?

Wholesale orders ship within 2 to 3 weeks depending on availability.
